Well structured, nicely balanced with an abundance of succulent red and black fruits, light mouth coating tannins at the tasty finish. A bit heftier than a Tuscan Chianti but it went well with a Kielbasa sausage and lentil soup.

Not quite as much of the pure cherry of Tuscan Sangiovese, but you can taste it. Would I have known it was Sangiovese blind? Maybe. Little more bulk and backbone, less soft than a Chianti Classico. Very nice, though. I’d get it again
