Casanuova delle Cerbaie Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG 2012: Medium-bodied. Medium acidity. Nice integrated tannins with flavors to match aromas. Cherry. Cranberry. Plum. Spice. Oak. Earth. Smooth short finish. For me, this was a younger expression for a typical Brunello however the wine did evolve throughout the meal and really started to shine during the last pour. All in all, this is a beautiful wine that needs some decanting or time if you want to experience it’s full potential. Cheers🍷
