Of the two, the 06 is the more Sangiovese forward. Good old world notes. Drank well into day 2. Great value for a 15 year old baby Tuscan.

A- 3.5/5wood earthy - light but probably because it’s young
T - 4/5 Smokey earth. Big feel but leaves fast. Almost Pinot like. Good with or without food.
$20 good deal - would buy

Really good wine, delicious up front but abets some attention. Bright raspberries and liquorice on the nose, a bit darker on the pallette, with at times smoke and an almost endive like bitterness. Better on day two, and the tannin integration benefited a lot from a proper cellar temperature.
