Amazing wine! This wine is well balanced ! You can taste the the sweetness of the old grapes that's why it's called (appassimento) it's not to acid and not to sweet, I strongly recommend it to anyone that likes old grapes flavored wine, it's leaves a nice taste in your mouth and it goes well with chocolate!

I rarely add reviews. However, this one was more than exceptional. The last one I can remember loving a as much as I did this one was a Rioja that I had around 2001. I need to find this one at a store and purchase a case. Absolutely amazing

Hints of dark chocolate.Not too acidic.Perfect with red fillet of beef.Leaves a nice after taste.very well balanced wine!!!Alcohol content questionable my husband still makes sense after having 3 glasses lol!

I love thickness of appassimento's body - and this one is not as sweet as previous we've tasted. Reasonable priced, sweet tannins, cherry and on nose even mushrooms... Finish is great, I feel like I'm chewing cherry skin.
