2016 vintage. Blend of Castelao, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet. Simple, but highly quaffable crowd pleaser with some sweetness in the finish, probably residual sugar. In France it would retail for about 8 euros, but in Portugal one seems to find it for 2,69 euros. Incredible at that price.

Smooth and fruity. Very easy to drink and it went great with a ribeye.

Feb 2nd, 2016I have four cases of this in my cave à vin (bedroom closet), so I'm really glad I actually like it. Simple, spicy, juicy. You could heat it up and call it glühwein. Pairs nicely with your mouth (gen.).
