Deep Red, almost black. Smells like overripe fruit and wilting flowers. Taste is muddled by high alcohol but has distinct blackberry and raisin. Tastes like the grapes were very ripe, resulting in more sugar and almost a sunburnt taste. Interesting wine but a bit off putting.
