Casa Castillo (Julia Roche E Hijos)
Jumilla Monastrell

Bright, fruit-forward + a little zing and champagne-esque bubble that lingers. Smooth and light - great for apps, light fare, or just to sip. Definite summer red.

Low price alternatives. Nothing special. Would buy again around $9-$12

2014 red wine blend, affordable, non-offensive. Tart. Best to add to recipes and finish the bottle off with drinking it with dinner.

Yooooung. But still tasty. Nose is pretty alcohol forward (14.5 abv) featuring baking spices. Palate is savory: dark fruit, black pepper. Not my favorite but can't beat the price.
