Cira Vineyard Cabernet Franc

Absolutely true to its humble place and the group of winemakers that put this together. So balanced and clear, not trying to be anything it isn't. I got this out and opened it simply because Patricia put a small very rich gravy-like food in front of me...minimal complexity. This came in to hold the balance and smooth out my palette perfectly. I slowly enjoyed it the rest of the evening. It didn't change even a bit...reminded me of the last Saumur rouge I had. Relaxation and rest are in this glass...a nice accent to my evening of kitchen work.

Complex ... Full bodied ... Starts light and fruity, finishes smoky, dirt, and cigar
