Picked this up, quite affordable. Nine years in Macau left me with a warm feeling about Portuguese wines, esp. tintos. 35/30/20/15 blend of Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Syrah. Tart plum initially, then cherry, raspberry aromas and flavors, light body and ripe fruit forward flavors with light seed tannin bitterness on the finish. 13.5% alc/vol. After two hours, seed tannins remain present, slightly chewy. Another participant here says there are better examples of Alentejano tintos out there, but in the US options for any Portuguese tintos remain limited. For value for money, this looks really good. Drink up.
