Dark and not as fragrant and fruity as the bond. The are not a lot amazing notes to this. 9.0
Finish is still sharp even though it’s a 2006

Had to get this for the vineyard name (spell revilo backwards 😉) and the fact that Carter doesn't source from this anymore. More restrained than the current offerings. Black Cherry and licorice. Still has tannins on it. Would like to see how this is in 5 years.

This is a well constructed wine. It is not your over the top big California cab. It is much more nuanced. It has a long subtle finish. I like it a lot and I am a big bold cab fan.
