Purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Nose of red and black fruits with earth, light wood, mediterranean spices, chocolates, herbs and peppercorn.

Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, light oak, spices, chocolates, licorice, coffee, peppercorn, earth herbs and green tea.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 5 year old red blend from Israel is drinking at its peak. Fruit forward with lots of earth notes to compliment it.

The nose feels more like an Oregon Pinot Noir, but the palate drinks like a Southern Rhone Red. So interesting.

Easy drinking and nicely balanced. Tangy, with a nice mouthfeel.

I had this vintage a couple of years ago, and it is drinking better now.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime, with a light chill.

A very unique blend of 38% Caladoc, 24% Carignan, 18% Argaman, 8% Grenache, 6% Petit Verdot, and 6% Syrah. Aged for 8 months in large oak barrels. Kosher and not Mevushal.

14% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

When in Israel drink…Caladoc? Kinda like a Rhone blend, but more green & astringent though not in a bad way. High toned red fruits. Menthol & pine sap in the background. A blend of 38% Caladoc/24 % Carignan/18 Argiman/8 Grenache/6 Petit Verdot/6 Shiraz. From Carmel, in the north. Definitely does better w air on day 2- the astringency gets more integrated.
