Rich and structured, label says a little Zinfandel was added, which accounts for the spicy, brambly notes, earthy notes as well, drinking very nicely tonight, very nice Petite Sirah!! The only vintage I purchased, this may be the very first Carlisle Petite Sirah (about 75 cases, the back label says).

Took a little while to open up but after all it is a PS. Still going strong after 17 years. Tannins and fruits still balanced. Impressive
