At first, this wine is overly sweet. But after time in the glass and warming up a bit, it came into its own. Citrus and stone fruit, honey, acidity cutting the sugar beautifully for a rich finish. Great value.

This is a decent value wine but in no way is it something to write home about; I wouldn’t buy it again. For $3-4 more you could have significantly better Spätlese offerings at your finger tips. The finish is short and lackluster.
