Comes in a heavy bottle which subtly communicates quality. Almost black in the glass with a red halo at the rim. Sweet black fruit nose with a tinge of alcohol. Repeated in the palate but velvet smooth with hints of spice preceding a slight peppery finish. Enough balanced acidity to be mouth watering but not challenging. Residual satisfying spiciness suggests another glass!

Tobacco, spice & bitter tannin finish. Didnt like it by itself for cocktails, but it was excellent w the rather greasy slow roasted lamb breast for dinner

Not really an Argentine Malbec fan but this one worked really well with slow roasted lamb breast / ribs. Very fatty and needed the size of the wine to balance the lamb. Wine was not too fruit forward (like most malbecs) but had a nice earthy balance. Alone would not have worked but with food was great.
