Medium ruby-hued. Aromas and flavors of blueberry, cherry, fig, licorice, and red plum. Medium body; medium-plus tannins; and high acidity. A pronounced bouquet of red and candied fruit on the nose; a full, yet plush, mouthfeel; and a zesty, medium-length finish. Probably needs more time to integrate and soften the tannins, but nonetheless drinkable now.

Textbook Barbera flavor profile, and certainly good, but not exciting. Slightly stewed red and black fruit with a wet concrete minerality. Medium acid and tannin. Went well with pizza.
