Us again on this wine. So glad we guessed right that this would be a winner and squirreled some away. It's got this amazing rote grütze flavor with beautiful age on the fruit, and just enough acid to let you know it's going to go the distance. If you can find this, get it.

Apr 25th, 2017Blown away by how much strawberry and red currant there is in this 46 year old wine. Mushroom on the nose, still some active tannins, amazingly. Still has years to run.

Cool, old wine flavors (1970!). Nice old Nebbiolo from the Alto Piemonte. Drinking nicely. Still has some fruit but definitely more toward the earth and mushroom.
