This was clawingly sweet, klung to the glass like thick purple syrup. Plenty of fruit left, not much complexity though. Worked with chocolate cake.

Dec 9th, 2020AJ 87/100 - Nice rose color, complex nose with slightly spices, red fruit, balsamic notes, very nice mouth with great acidity, freshness, great salinity, very long in mouth. Nice!

10 year old wine still showing off powerful bouquet of red cherry, violets, liquorice, milk chocolate and cooked blackberry. Balanced medium acidity with medium silky tannins. Alcohol and tannins are very well integrated in the wine. Medium finish. This wine shows tertiary aromas and flavors of earth, barnyard, leather and prunes. However, given the primary fruit on this wine as well as its robust backbone, I can see this wine improving for another 5-7 years and keep for another 5 after that.
