A lovely wine, deep dark red, nose full of ripe black fruits, black cherries, cooked plums, cassis, black current, sweet spices, full body ripe round and rich, fruit forward and warm, long finish. Not my preferred Italian style, but a nice wine. My score 87, drink to 2020

New leather, filo pastry and fetter (strangely) then into richly perfumed black fruit. Full and rounded in the mouth, sticky tannin and ample sweet fruit.

Good nuance of red fruits on the nose edging from full and fresh into slightly dried, a strong rose stem and petal perfume backs this up nicely. Balanced weight on the palate and silky all the way through with good integration of rich, classy red berry fruit and light tannin/acidity. 90pts

This 2013 Italian is a lovely choice with perfumed cheese :-) ruby red, fruity nose, full of cherries, red current, Vanilla and sweet spices, medium to full body with firm tannins and lovely fresh crisp acidity, long fruity finish. My score 86, drink to 2019, might improve with time.
