Very nice and inviting nose of raspberry, cherry leather and tar. The palate is very well designed with a great acid drive, some width, some nice fruity notes all along, gentle tannins in the rear before a rather long and silky finish with raspberry and cherry notes with a tiny oaky layer popping in. We had it with a veal stew with carrots and quince and the pairing was surprisingly exquisite.
