Dark, near black purple. Abundant nose of blackberry plum cobbler. Medium full palate yields blackberry and red plum supported by just enough popsicle stick oak. Velvety tannins. Juicy, medium plus acidity. A fantastic all-around Adriatic Italian at home with anything from burgers to pasta to pizza to fine dining. Checks off all the boxes, including great QPR. Drink now through 2027.

Dark near black purple. Abundant nose of black cherry cobbler, blackberry, and vanilla cream. Medium full palate echoes the nose, though bright, medium plus acidity renders it more juicy than cobblery. Add in medium tannins and this ballerina body with a linebacker nose shows as an excellent, moderately complex food wine. Pizza to pasta to medium cuts of beef will pair well. Drink now through 2026 with moderate development.

For the price, tough to beat.

Big big bouquet! Soft and delicate upfront. Dried dark fruit -mild- that ends with a long lasting but mild earthiness.

A little too sweet. No finish but good with food. TW

A bit mono tone and off taste at the end.

Thought not the best Montepulciano D’Abruzzo on the market, for the price, this is really a nice little find.
