Had this at the fancy Carrabas location, so, it was probably overpriced. But it wasn't bad. Easily drinkable.

Full bodied, garnet in color. Modern in style, the amount of oakiness is a welcome and tasteful departure from the traditional Italian lightly oaked wine. Asian spice, blackberry, dark cherry, chocolate, unlit cigar on the nose. Dark cherry, slow guy spice, and a touch of oak on the palate.

Good structure. Well balanced. Paired well with progression of Italian meal from antipasta through secondi courses.
