From half bottle, opened yesterday. Deeper more serious fruit aroma(closer to black cherry)compare to 2012, hint of cigar box and espresso note with kiss of vanilla tone. med body, med p acid, drier than 2012, slight gripping tannin(moderate plus), med plus finish with dusty earthiness. More savory, food friendly wine. 2012 is more enjoyable with itself. Fiorentina or veal chop can be delicious with this.
