Have Seen this at stores decided to give it a go 2014 Reserva medium red color berry fruit ,earthy , Dill - seems ok in a pinch - not sure I would let this age any further

American oak for dayzzzzz. Red cherry, olives, vanilla, woody notes...wow...the oak is heavy. Anyone sensitive to it will not be pleased. Those that love this style will really like it. Nothing wrong with the wine, this is just not my preferred style of Rioja.

An earthy Red wine from Rioja. Showing red fruits with earth, dark chocolates, graphites, peppercorn, spices, wood and cloves.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate and a good food wine.
100% Tempranillo grapes were aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

It’s a little lighter than I was hoping for, but has nice fruit notes and is smooth. Great to accompany an evening meal.

Feb 4th, 2021Medium ruby in color. On the nose red fruit, primarily tart cherry, vanilla, baking spices (cinnamon, clove), wood, and coconut. Also an ephemeral dill that I can't pin down but kept popping up when I stopped searching for it. The palate is a softer generic red fruit and black pepper. It's full bodied and the tannins are rounded but noticeable with a finish that lingers for a minute or so.

Réserva 2014.Strong notes of vanilla on tongue, giving way to black current on the palate with a hit of tannin. Overall a very smooth drinkable vintage, smoother than many Tempranillo blends. Enjoyable nice wine good to drink after 6 years on the wine rack.
