Clear, dark ruby. Classic Cab Sauv nose of cassis and clove, echoed on the smooth, silky palate fortunately — and perhaps surprisingly — without the bell pepper usually found in such Cabs. Medium minus acidity and near zero tannins make this the definition of “easy drinking” at this price point. Not a “dinner table” wine (and definitely not one for long-term holding) but a “cookout Cab” and it should shine in that capacity. #wfl #WineReviews

Very nice dark purple with some dark cherry and hints of licorice and some hints of smoke. Very smooth and soft pallet of dark fruit and cherrys with crazy soft tannins that makea this a very easy drinking cab.

Good Cab. Cherry and vanilla flavors in a full bodied wine.

I've seen this Cabernet in this unique, square bottle for a while now, and I decided to give it a try.

Ruby red in color with medium intensity and a light red rim.

Not too pronounced on the nose, with blackberries, blueberries, sour cherries, funk, earth, wood, light cloves and black pepper.

Light to Medium-bodied.

On the palate, blueberries, plums, light vannilla, cherries, strawberries, oak, earth and light peppercorn.

Short finish with soft tannins.

Nice gimmic on the bottle shape, but nothing more than an OK, everyday wine. At $16 at Total Wine, I think that it is overpriced.

13.8% alcohol by volume.

Nose of alcohol and earthiness. Taste out of the bottle was lots of fruit forward but opened up to lots of leather and pepper. Mainly a powerful earthy and oak wine.

Great smooth cab that pairs well with Le Gruyère.

Decent wine, low on tannins. For the price fair deal.
