I haven't tasted one of these for several years, and I think this is now our last bottle. Now this is 11 years after the vintage. The nose is very, very muted blackberry with a touch of menthol. On the palate, again the fruit is muted but raspberry and blackberry are there still... Cedar bark, licorice, soil... We're getting close to end of life here, but still an enjoyable glass of wine. Tannins holding together and the finish is medium and herbal.
