Top notch Napa Cabernet, winery no longer in operation but this 2008 offering is delicious and probably in a perfect window to enjoy. Delicious blend of fruit, vanilla, oak, cigar tobacco and lavender. Balanced, with soft tannins and just the right amount of sweetness. I really enjoyed this.

Rich aromas of black currants, wild blueberry and sour cherry layered with a full bouquet of star anise, cinnamon and baking spices carry the wine through its exceptionally rich, fruit-forward and intense finish. Earthy minerality and a core of spice-driven oak really balances the fruit.

Dark in colour, lot of berries, strong from beginning to the end! Very nice wine to drink.
