Al Shikoh

Opaque ruby black hue. Perfumed nose of black cherry, raspberry, blackberries, and baking spices. Fleshy and ripe on the palate with intense dark fruit profile and pleasing minerality supported by a structure of good acidity and ample fine grained tannins leading to a long, spicy finish. Sourced from a warmer vineyard with southern exposure and aged in 30% new French oak, this wine is dominated by primary fruit characteristics at this point and will undoubtedly benefit from time in the cellar. Consumed from a 375 mL. 14.5% ABV. $95.
