Want to eat buttery popcorn without the calories? That's what I did today. Skinny Girl popcorn (no butter), paired with a buttery Napa Chardonnay.

This Napa Chardonnay is delicious. Showing citrus, vanilla, spices, cedar, lemons, yellow apples, pears, pineapples, bananas and black pepper.

Full bodied and bold with a buttery mouthfeel.

Not my usual style, but this works perfectly with the popcorn.

14.2% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

Nice color of light gold.

Strong nose of citrus, lemons, tropical fruits, oak, vanilla, spices, kiwifruit and mangoes.

Full bodied, buttery and bold, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with lemons, citrus, yellow apples, grapefruits, bitter herbs, spices, oak, vanilla, almonds and black pepper.

Spicy finish with bitter almonds.

This is a big and elegant Chardonnay from Napa Valley. Very interesting nose with a nice mouthfeel, and not very oaky, which I liked.

A good sipping wine and better when properly chilled.

I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.
