Cara Mia Vineyard Camerata Cabernet Franc Blend

Nice garrique notes and minerality. Classic red mountain fruit. Would definitely buy again.

This Cabernet dominant wine is a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot sourced from the Cara Mia Vineyard on Red Mountain. The 2015 version is heavy on the Cabernet compared to other vintages. A little more approachable than the Bel Canto right now, you’ll still be rewarded for cellaring it. The palate shows wonderful black pepper, green bell pepper, a bit of crushed gravel, and after a bit of decanting, the blackberries express themselves as well. Strong mouth coating tannins finish off this bold effort nicely. Drink 2020-2040- 93

Dark and spicy blend with lots of green and red peppers. Interesting take on a mature Washington Red.

Sweet spice and red fruit with a sour dried cherry on the palate. Very nice!!

Big red fruit, even after 9 years, but this manages to keep everything in balance, which isn't easy to do with Red Mountain. No signs of fading any time soon.

Another phenomenal vintage from Cadence. Needed to open up a little bit boy did it shine once it did. Lovely wine.

This one has held up beautifully. Went very well with our steak dinner last night.

Delicious, robust but food friendly. Had at hone wine tasting, wouldn’t spend $60 but maybe $35?
