Aug 9th, 2017CVed 7/8/17. Deal from Acker auction $20. Great gamey and eucalyptus and dark red fruit and leather nose. Good balance and acids and minerals on palate and long finish. Coated empty glass with earthy smell for long time. Will get more of other vineyards. 170 cases. CVed again 8/17/17. Tasting better than in the Rockies! Nose send to have more of the leather and tobacco box notes and more heat than the Rhone wines in the comp. Give it 9.0 this time. Opened 2/13/18. Yes indeed an excellent wine. Same score.
