We really liked this as a light wine with a wonderful way of making you warm on a cool night.

Wonderful wine, very light in taste and colour, making it incredibly imbibable during these troubling wines. If in doubt, wine wins.

Probably the most fruit forward French wine I’ve had - big jammy whiff but it drinks lighter than it looks in the glass. Simply too sweet for my preference but at least there is a tactful use of oak and some tannin structure. Needs the residual sugar dialed back and some natural acidity blended in. #côtesdecatalanes

STWC. Black fruit cassis aroma. Soft sweet indistinct fruit taste with low tannins. Soft fruity and lacking edge. Not really my style.

Exhilarating blackberry plummy aroma, juicy mouthfeel and velvety tannins, but there’s too much residual sugar for standalone enjoyment on this old vine #grenache. It is a food friendly wine and that sweetness works well with a richer mildly spiced Indian curry. #wsjwineclub
