Another cutie bottle from our #gifted wine advent calendar from Laithwaites ❤️

Cabalie 2020, cuvée vieilles vignes, Grenache & Carignan 60/40

👅 fruity perfectly balanced, medium body, subtle blackcurrant, mmmmmm tasty

Pretty good but the sweetness is confusing.

December 10, 2021 - very drinkable red blend. Fruit forward, medium body, nice, easy finish. Would be great paired with a burger or even a hearty pasta or chicken dish. Also very good just as an afternoon or early evening treat by itself. Will buy again.

Didn’t expect 2020 french wine to have this much mature taste without much sourness. It goes well with any dishes and could even drink without food. Little lighter than what I like. Still very nice wine.

Lighter on the palate than suggested by massive, ripe blackberries on the nose. Good acidity, not too much sweetness.

2019. Lovely rich berries

No harsh taste, strong abv

Blackcurrant. A bit coarse.
