Valpolicella, Verona, Veneto, Italy
Blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella, deep Ruby with aromas of dried dark fruits, spice and herb, about 120 days of appassimento. Palate shows ripe fruits, cherry and blackberry flavors with fig, cacao, spice and mineral tones. Soft chewy tannins well balanced with acidity on a long spicy finish. Good, a little pricey, shop for others!

Mooi rood, met een beetje fantasie iets bruinigs. Geur van kersen, maar niet overheersend. Mooie brede smaak, natuurlijk rood fruit, maar ook mooie zuren en nog wat tannines. Geen ‘over the top’ amarone. Prima op dronk, wellicht betert de wijn nog ietsje de komende 3 jaar.

Really quite nice. Dried red fruit and tea,mellow tannins, very enjoyable. Not a “profound” classic Amarone, but very good.
