Definitely more or a table wine. Slightly astringent acidity even with decanting. I assume it will sweeten a bit on the second day. Still drinkable, has substantial tannins that coats the palate. Notes of strawberry for sure. The nose has a subtle bouquet of dark berries and a small mint of leather trying to eek it's way in.

Mild, light in body, aroma of strawberry and oak. Good balance between tart and sweet. Subtle pepper finish. Quite pleasant.

Chill, decant and aerate. Gets rid of that sour taste that some describe. As such, it becomes a pleasant table wine on a budget that can be versatile enough to pair with many things. Will not overwhelm lighter flavored dishes. Apart from that, not really a drinking wine on its own with its lack of complexity and lack of fruit.
