Byron
Santa Barbara County Chardonnay
Bright deep yellow gold. Shy nose matches the palate of baked quince with a citrusy essence. Charred cobbler crust comes through midpalate to the finish (which is kinda lengthy). Full body and medium acidity round out the picture. A solid all-around New World Chard that will compliment a wide range of “white wine” fare, from baked fish to pork tenderloin to Thanksgiving dinner. It *is* getting to be that time, after all.

Jan 19th, 2015I am not sure if this is the Chardonnay that I tasted, but it was definitely from Byron!

Jul 24th, 2016Light chard with good fruit and mouth feel and subtle finish. Delicate but memorable. Light nose, rich pineapple and citrus fruit. Short well balanced finish.
