Very dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim. Not showing age at all.

Fruity nose with sour cherries, blueberries, raspberries, oak, licorice, dark chocolates, tobacco, light vegetables and black pepper.

Full bodied and smooth with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with red currants, black plums, cherries, wood, cloves, light vanilla, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very enjoyable Bordeaux blend from Mendocino, California. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.

This 8 year old is drinking very nicely now and needs a couple of hours to open up properly. Nicely balanced, tangy and interesting.

Good by itself and with food. I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses, and had it by the pool. Goes very nicely with the Italian dried meats.

A blend of 82.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5.5% Cabernet Franc and 12.3% Merlot. Grapes are grown at 2,400 feet of elevation.

14.1% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$65.

Mendocino County, CA, Bordeaux style blend is fantastic value. Dark ruby color, full bodied and very smooth. Nice dark bramble fruit with pepper note and fine tannins on the finish. Would probably continue to develop nicely over the next few years.
