A pretty big wine and sometimes that's exactly what one wants.

OMG! What happened here? I thought this bottle would be long gone but it's actually BEAUTIFUL. More Bordeaux like than California. Classic floral and funk. It's got an amazing nose. Falls a little short at the end but considering 13 years on a Santa Ynez Cab Franc it's totally acceptable. Quite a lovely surprise. 2004 - nice!

A standout single-varietal Cab Franc. A delicate balance between spicy, smoky, and fruit-forward characteristics. Black pepper, toasted oak, plum and cranberry flavors. Just the right amount of tannins. Overall yummy.

Great full body wine with blackberry, cherry, earth notes with a smooth finish that lingers until the very end. Love this wine!

Huge disappointment. An oak monster in the worst way. Wine should be created in the vineyard not in the winery. Dense, obnoxious, cloying and did I mention disappointing?
