Nicely balanced acid. Getting a lot of wood on this, to much in my humble opinion. Not a bad NC Merlot but I have had better from Yadkin Valley. Loved the grounds at this winery.

I cleared my palate with crackers in between the whites and this at the tasting and was blown away by a light buttery and slightly sweet Merlot like I've never had before! But alas, when I got home I was saddened to realize it was all cracker I was tasting... and I'm still on a mission to find a Merlot I like
