Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 Burnier
One of the most interesting Russian wines which I tried recently. Despite its serious age, the wine is in good condition. It has deep ruby colour and it is so deep that you can't see nothing through the glass. The aroma has medium intensity and notes of dried black currant, black cherry jam, liquorice, black pepper and charred wood. The wine has fresh flavor due to bright acidity. Alcohol is high enough so it is quite hard to drink more than two glasses. After all it's a pity that it was a last bottle in my cellar.
