And beats goes on - besides Cher being tall with long black hair and could sing her you know what off - I imagine if she tried this wine she sing that cord of her famous song out loud because this wine is that good

The fruit for this wine comes from a single block of a ten-acre Cabernet vineyard in the Coombsville AVA. Block 1 is the only steep hillside block of the vineyard, as the rest of the vineyard is located on a more rolling hillside. The special selection process is out of 90 barrels that this is selected from and what is felt to be the 10 best barrels

Dark intense fruit combined with full aromatic experiences coupled with a taste that hits your palette with complex yet elegant notes but can say the finish was not as long as I like - I like it when I remember the days when NASA counted to lift off and that final 10 seconds were eternity

It is still a big boy wine that makes me SMILE and if lucky enough to have some then this can cellar a looooong time

Good Evening fellow wine lovers. Tonight we are drinking one my very favorite wines, 2010 Burly Cabrenet Sauvignon. WOW. Before we begin, I want to thank Bernice and Hank McCrorie for bringing us their amazing wines. Bernice actually talks to me via email and on the phone when I call them. No other wine maker has ever done this. She's from Sonoma County and he's from Asheville North Carolina. This couple has made an amazing product. Please visit their website www.Burlywines.com The cork is perfect with almost no absorption ring. The color is opaque deep purple / black. The legs are long and slow. The bouquet is blackberry and raspberry aromas. The initial palate is so buttery smooth you won't believe it's this big! There are flavors of black current, blackberries, and fig. The new oak barrel aging gives it a hint of spice with a smooth finish that of a green apple. It is mildly dry leaving absolutely no aftertaste. All you can think of is MORE! Before you know it, your two glasses down and telling yourself to slow down. This is a perfect wine. It's a bit pricey but so worth the expense. I give it 98 points and a 10 on the delectable scale! But as much of this wine as you can. Also try the Chardonnay! You will change your mind about Chards if your a Pinot Grigio fan!

Definitely more earth than the normal Burly Cabernet. Dry and graphite flavor are evident.
