When you open a under $40 Napa cab that’s well past it’s drinking window on paper, but it blows your socks off!
Beautiful dark berries, chocolate, and tobacco.

Sep 12th, 2015I tried. I really did. I just could even finish a glass of this. For starters, it's just far too acidic: the nose is right at the front of the nose, no depth to it at all. The taste bears this out: very flat, not real character or complexity, and the fruit is almost non-existent, completely overpowered by a taste I disliked, but just couldn't place.
