Campo del Tìtari Riserva Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Corvina Blend
Valpolicella, Verona, Veneto, Italy
Corvina Blend
Tomato-Based, Asian Cuisine, Mushrooms, Pork, Fish, Salads & Greens
Top Notes For
Amazing. Amarone at its best. Thick, dense complex nose of charcuteries, mulberries, tobacco, ceder and subtle oak flavors; a delicious port-like palate that holds everything in place and which lingers like a symphony for minutes.

Apr 27th, 2019Normally not a fan of Amarone but this is 'da shit. Grapes from this wineyard in Cariano -- named after horse Titari -- are of high enough quality to make this blend (60% Corvina, 30% Rondinella, and rest Sangiovese) only some years. Production is only 3000 bottles and price is around 80 USD (750 SEK). Super rich and elegant; did not go well with a beef tenderloin meal as it was too powerful and interesting.
