This is one of those fun, rare surprises, you never expect it, but then there it is showing itself to you in it's own authentic, pure unadulterated beauty. This wine is superb. Better on the second day, I'd recommend decanting. Extra trocken must have some relation to extra brut, but there was very little residual sugar in this lovely sparkler.
