Broc Cellars
Eagle Point Ranch Counoise
Count me impressed. Dark, slightly cloudy, deep red color and beautiful, deep, rich aromatics of bramble, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and wet earth. Fruit aromas are dark, almost black, raspberry and dark-but-a-bit tart cherry. Alcohol is perfectly balanced; tannins are fine but slightly rustic; and, acidity is bright but nicely balanced. Finish is long. Too bad I didn't buy more bottles.

Mar 21st, 2015Ripe, juicy berry notes... with s hint of smoke and spice on the nose. Medium to med-light on the palate... delightful acid/fruit balance. Perfect for a summer night outside in Chicago with a double smash burger and wagau...Chill this bad boy down if it’s warm.
