One of the better appellation wines I’ve had from Willamette in recent memory. Very floral nose, distinct rose petal aroma- reminiscent of Nebbiolo with some Burgundian characteristics. Delicate but not lacking in fruit extraction. Raspberry, mushroom and potting soil. Very earthy, firm tannins, virtually no oak. Lovely entry-level wine from a top-tier Oregon producer. This is a fabulous “house wine”.
