2012 vintage. A blend of Sangiovese, Syrah and Sagrantino. Terrific effort from this young producer. This is their top Montefalco Rosso and the 2012 is in a great place now. Almost Nebbiolo-like nose (and that is a compliment), powerful and deep with a long spicy finish. Amazing value too at about 18,50 euro.
