Vintage 2013 | 55% chardonnay 25% pinot noir 20% pinot meunier | No wonder that Champagnehouses from France make joint ventures and invest in the United Kingdom. This is really good stuff. 24 months on the lees. Pear, yeast, summerflowers in smell. High acidity, racy. Very good effort. Paired with my Sunday breakfast scrambled eggs.

Vintage 2013 | 55% Chardonnay 25% Pinot Noir 20% Pinot Meunier | The wine sprayed like a fountain after opening. I suppose Steven Spurrier is smacking himself on the knees, laughing in wine lovers heaven. Alas half a bottle on the table... the bubbly from Dorset England in the glass shows very well: yeast in smell, very vibrant with lively acidity in taste, very pure, exciting. | Paired with Foie Gras Poêlé with some grapes and calvados. Happy Easter!
