An interesting contrast to the st emillion of the same vintage we had the night before. Much more fruit forward, with sweet dark cherry and wild dark berry fruit, almost honeyed, framing the wine. There is some cedar, a hint of flowers, a little earth, dusting of cocoa powder, but the fruit is youthful and dominates. Plush, solid acidity, Good structure still, but not to keep it from declining from here. Not super complex, but very focused, polished and well done
