Surprised at the professional reviews here. Maybe this has gotten significantly better with age. My first time with this producer. Stewed tomato, bacon fat, herbs, teriyaki marinated blackberries. Really nice.

2008 was an odd year - you can taste the smoke from the fires that year. Turns off most palates, but pushes it into port and cigar territory. A one of a kind novelty that was fun to share.
