Brecon Estate
True Acacia Head Central Coast Albariño
This is a very tasty Albariño from California.
Showing limes, lemons, citrus, green apples, herbs, earth and minerals.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity.
Good right out of the bottle and better with food. Lemony, tangy and spicy.
I paired it with baked grouper with herbs and lemons.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Needs a couple of minutes to open up, and better when not too cold.
A good quality wine and good by itself or with food. I paired it with fresh berries, cheeses and crackers.

Not my favorite of the vintages I’ve had, but pretty good. A bit too oaky I think for my taste.
